Karen Lindsey celebrates 25 years in the industry.
Cutting her teeth in London as a 'rookie' event organiser, three years later she returned to the South of England to form her own events company. After fourteen years of managing Leaps & Bounds, having identified that clients were seeking more and more flexibility, Karen Lindsey Consultancy (KLC) was born.
Seven years on and as the 26th year approaches, time for another shake up! KLC has streamlined its areas of expertise to reflect client demand and consultant's desire.
In order to provide a more dedicated service, the core areas of consultancy have been refined and now focus upon:
- Complimentary Venue Find service
- Event consultancy support for key elements of an event
- A bespoke five day 'event health check' for both companies and locations
- Sustainability guidance
- A three hour workshop for budding event organisers
2013 saw the launch of 'Friends of Douglas' whereby KLC hosts very special events dedicated to animal welfare charities.
